A
High degree AV blocks, CHF, cardiogenic shock, asthma and COPD

Side Effects?
A
Confusion, respiratory distress, AV blocks, hypotension and brady

Action?
A
Affects both bronchial & cardiac sites. Reduced heart rate, myocardial irritability, contractile force, cardiac output and blood pressure

ADULT?
A
1 to 3 mg slow IVP over 2 to 5 min, don’t exceed 1 mg/min (repeat at 2 min) MAX= 0.1 mg/kg
