3) separate labia and clean 1 labia, the other labia, and vaginal opening using downward, front-to-back motion; use one new side of washcloth for each part
4) change wash cloth and rinse using new mitted washcloth
5) repeat cleaning movements using one new side of washcloth for each part
6) pat dry
7) person lays on their side
8) use new clean mitted washcloth and squeeze out excess soap, etc.
9) clean from vagina to anus in 1 swipe; repeating as many times as needed using new clean part of washcloth
10) rinse rectal area w/ new clean mitted washcloth

similar to female perineal care procedure
1) if uncircumcised retract foreskin
2) use soap mitted wash cloth and use circular motions around meatus using clean part of wash cloth each swipe until clean
2) rinse using another mitted wash cloth using circular motion
3) clean shaft using downward motions with new clean mitted washcloth
4) clean / rinse scrotum w/ clean part of washcloth
5) pat dry penis and scrotum
6) clean rectal area front-to-back
7) pat dry
