What are the proximal and distal boundaries of the Cubital fossa?
Proximal= Medial Epicondyle of the Humerus and Lateral Epicondyle of the Humerus Distal= Pronator teres and brachioradialis
What makes up the floor of the Cubital fossa?
- Brachialis
- Supinator
What does the Cubital fossa contain?
- Brachial Artery
- Bification of Radial and Ulnar Artery
- Biceps tendon
- Bicipital Aponeousis
- Radial Nerve
- Median Nerve
What does the musculocutaneous nerve turn into in the forearm?
Lateral Cutaneous Nerve of the Forearm
What are the 3 superficial structures of the forearm? (1 vein and 2 nerves)
- Median Cubital Vein
- Lateral antebrachial cutaneous Nerve (from MCT nerve)
- Medial antebrachial cutaneous nerve (from ulnar nerve)

What muscles does the anterior portion of the radial nerve travel between?
Brachialis and Brachioradialis

Describe the humeroradial joint
The head of the radius with the capitulum of the humerus

The radial tuberosity of the radius and the radial fossa of the humerus
Describe the humeroulnar joint?
The coranoid process of the ulna and the trochlea of the humerus
What landmarks of the ulna and the Humerus articulate with eachother when the elbow is flexed
Coronoid process of the ulna and the coronoid fossa of the humerus
What purpose does the trochlear notch have?
Adds stability to the hinge joint
What are the ligaments of the elbow joint?
- Radial Collateral
- Ulnar Collateral (Anterior Band, Posterior Band, and Oblique Band)
Where is the radial collateral ligament located?
The lateral side of the elbow joint from the lateral epicondyle to the ulna
Where are the ulnar collateral ligaments located?
-Medial side of the elbow joint
Describe the different bands of the ulnar collateral ligament
Kind of form a triangle
Where does the anterior collateral ligament go/attach?
Attaches at medial epicondyle of the Humerus and goes to the coronoid process of the ulna
Where does the transverse collateral ligament go/attach?
Olecranon to the coronoid process of the ulna
Where does the posterior collateral ligament go/attach?
Olecranon to the medial epicondyle
What are the 3 olecranon bursae?
- Subtendinous
- Intratendinous
- Subcutaneous
Where is the subcutaneous tendon located?
Between the skin and the triceps tendon
