Protects people from difference personal characteristics from discrimination or unfair treatment
What are the characteristics that are protected under the equality act?

- race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin.

Pick Everard diversity and inclusion policy include 3 primary aims,
1. Increase a diverse pool of employees,
2. Cultivate a culture that encourages collaboration, progression and understanding for all to contribute to their full potential
3. develop structures & strategies to give leaders ability to manage diversity.

What is the difference between diversity and inclusion?
Diversity is the make up of a group (varying ages, genders, races etc). Inclusion is how well the different perspectives are valued in the group
What is space diversity?
Create a space which embraces all people no matter their background or identity and provides them with equal access to opportunities and resources.
