A

Echolocation is when an animal produces a sound wave which then hits an object and rebounds back to the animal producing the sound waves.

  1. Bats echolocate in air whereas dolphins produce in water.
  2. Both use it to find food and measure distances.
  3. Bats receive the signal in their ears, whereas dolphins receive the signal in their jaw.
