Dolphin and Bats Echolocation:
A
Echolocation is when an animal produces a sound wave which then hits an object and rebounds back to the animal producing the sound waves.
- Bats echolocate in air whereas dolphins produce in water.
- Both use it to find food and measure distances.
- Bats receive the signal in their ears, whereas dolphins receive the signal in their jaw.
