Function: Filters out toxic waste and maintains fluid balance.
Structure: Made up of nephrons, 3 internal structures: renal cortex, renal module, renal pelvis.
Ureters Function?

Function: Carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder.
Structure: Long, hollow, muscular tube, that leads out of the kidneys via the renal pelvis.
Bladder Function?
Bladder Structure?
Function: Collect, store and expel urine.
Structure: Elastic / stretchy organ that can inflate to fill with urine.
Urethra Function?
Urethra Structure?
Function: Removes urine from the bladder to outside of the body.
Structure: Tube that connects the bladder to the outside of the body.
