(b) Normal navig facilities that are aval in open country do not exist in that form in mtnous trn.
(d) Due to inadequate space for constr of air strips, aircraft may have to operate from comparatively far off airfields, thus reducing Opsal radius of action.
(c) Recognition & indication of tgts become difficult. Even a well-defined target, may show itself to a pilot only for a very short duration, owing to neighboring higher features or jungle.
(e) As alt increases, longer run ways are nec.
(a) Atmospheric conditions make flying hazardous.
(f) When calling for air sp, it must be ensured en is not located on neighboring high features, from where they can shoot at aircraft. This is particularly applicable to slow moving aircraft used for supply dropping.
