(a) Follow up echs should be close enough to be aval without a large gap of time & also not get involved in fighting prematurely.
(b) Sit will be fairly confused after leading echs have assaulted, hence objs for follow up echs must be clearly defined & where it is possible, bdys need to be indicated on grnd.
(c) Passing through of follow-up sub-units, before reorg has been completed, must be thoroughly coordinated so that fire of own tps is not masked & own safety not endangered owing to own arty sp.
(d) Proper drills must be evolved & practiced for identification of own tps esp during a dark ni.
(e) As far as possible assault in echs should be avoided in favor of attk in phases.

In the mtnous trn attk op using infilt technique has great potential as it is not possible for defender to physically block all possible apphs.

What are the aspects which merit spl consideration during attk by infil in mtnous trn? [IOT]-3

(a) Infiltrating tps will perforce have to be lightly armed & equipped to maintain good mob esp when AT cannot be provided for tactical reasons. In that event some heptr sp must be pre-planned & coord.
(b) Ops in mtns are relatively slower; therefore, staying capacity of infiltrating force should be carefully assessed till main force can link up.
(a) Task assigned to infiltrating forces should be such that it is within rg of arty wpns aval in mtn fmns.
