Why does equipment fail? (6)

Equipment care means ensuring all equipment is clean, serviceable and that all staff are confident in its use

- Monthly/ weekly checks when not in use
- Practice manager weekly 10% snap inspections
- 6 monthly Mandatory Equipment Inspections (MEIs)

Why is fault reporting important? (6)
- Prevent the fault from worsening
- Allow for timely repair
- Reduce the possibility of accidents

No. Failure reporting is for when the equipment has prematurely failed.
