A
  • gastro-oesophageal reflux disease - 13% - fingerlike inflammation projections up oesophagus
  • peptic ulcer disease - 8%
  • gastric cancer - 1%
  • 80% with dyspepsia will have normal endoscopy - functional dyspeptic disease (1/6 of all patients)
