what is the spermatogenosis? and what cell types are important?

A

Spermatogenesis (production of sperm)

maturation of spermatogenesis
-spermatogonium–> spermatocytes–> spermatid –> sperm

Leydig cells–> production of testosterone (LH hormone)

Sertoli cells –> support spermatogenesis (FHS and testosterone hormone)–> Sertoli cells control seminiferous local environment

What is the role of the hypothalamus-anterior pituitary- gonad axis
in males, including the roles of LH, FSH and testosterone?

A

all the processes are stimulated by certain hormones. the production of leydig cells is is stimulated by LH hormones coming from the hypothalamus. this is luteinising hormone (LH)

FSH stimulates the sertoli cells these are from the anterior pituitary- gonads
