Define regeneration
• Upgrading an area e.g improving infrastructure or increasing green space
• Redevelopment where existing building are demolished and replaced with newer, more modern ones
Define rebranding
• Way in which a place is marketed, giving it a new identity to attract new investors, tourists and residents
Define reimaging
• Changing peoples’ perception of place from pre-existing negative thoughts

Corporate body, residents, TNCs, local and national government, media, tourists

Areas (Salford/Trafford Enterprise Zone) where businesses got incentives for operating in the zone such as:
• Exemption of land taxes
• Grants
• Sped up planning permission

• 200-acre mixed-used land development officially opened in 2012
• Includes offices, campus of Salford University, and many cafes, bars, restaurants
