What are the consequences to fall into negative self talk ? Are there important to combat?

Negative talk can lead to health issues such as chronic stress, relationship problems, mental issues such as anxiety, depression or low self esteem which also include hopelessness, helplessness and so on, moreover, it is also shown that negative self talk or criticism can cause binge eating or eating disorders which affect us our physical health as well

There negative self talk and criticism on yourself is not the solution of achieving your goals, mental health or reach leading to a better quality of life.

Note: Actually,positive self criticism with good explanation is good, negative not.

So how to solve our mental negativity or negative self talk?

A

Whenever you have fallen or realize that you are thinking negative, treat and talk to yourself with kindness and understanding(compassion), just like you would for a best friend

And remember mistakes are normal, making mistakes is part of our growing process to be turning into our better version.

What should I do if my thoughts are thinking negatively about myself in the past(what I blame myself to do better, which I can’t change) or be anxious about my future about a specific topic that I can’t control?

A

Sum: Focus and live in the present, and hold on for second to be aware about your thoughts, ask yourself and think about things that you need to improve right now to contribute to your success rather than negative self talk. Do not blame for things that you can’t change in the past or over analyze it. Forgiveness .

and ask questions like, what is the reason about this, how can i change this negative thought? The answer is to live in the present and to think more in s positive direction. Because thoughts about our present in more manageable than thoughts about our past or future. (Those thoughts can prone to be negative, be aware of it)

While thinking about our present, we can think about how to improve our current situation right now, what are the things I need to do right now ?

What is meta cognition thinking or mindset ?

A

Meta cognition thinking is a form of thinking of your own thinking in the present, you can think and evaluate your own thinking. Preventing negative self talk, criticism and comparison that often hinder your process of mental stability and even further making it difficult for achieving your goals. The approach you could use is that your are consciously sorting out any of your thinking pattern that leads to those negative thoughts, and creating more positive thoughts like a kind friend or like treating yourself the same way as treating your best friend as trying to help your own best friend with understanding.
