Neurodevelopmental Disorders
A group of disorders that result from central nervous system abnormalities that start in childhood and alter thinking and behavior
Specific learning disorders
Average to abve average intelligence with chronic difficulty in perceiving or processing information
Motor disorders
Affects parts of he brain used in planning and executing tasks; impair a person’s ability to communicate, interact with others, or perform necessary tasks
Tourette’s syndrome
Neurological condition where one has both motor and one or more vocal tics present at the same time, although not necessarily simultaneously
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Limitation in communication & social interaction & fixated interests, and repetitive behaviors; impaired theory of the mind
Impaired theory of the mind
Difficulty inferring what others are thinking or reading facial expressions
AD/HD
Extreme inattention and/pr hyperactivity & impulsivity
