Endorsement Add-Ons

Does not require a minimum number of hours.
Doesn’t require a checkride
Instructor just needs to determine that you are proficient
You need to be graded on normal and crosswind landings as well as go-around procedures
Complex Airplane Add-On
An airplane that has retractable landing gear, flaps, and a controllable pitch propellor (for a sea plane, just flaps and a controllable pitch propellor)
No minimum number of hours required
Required to receive ground and flight training from an instructor and be endorsed for being proficient in a complex airplane
The training can be in a complex airplane or in a simulator that represents a complex airplane
High Performance Airplane Add-On

Flight training must be conducted in a pressurized aircraft
Cruise operations above 25,000’ MSL
Proper emergency procedures for simulated rapid decompression without actually decompressing the aircraft
