A
Sudden onset muscle spasms and stiffness.

- Displays social isolation.
- lack of attempt for social interaction.
- Maintains close relationships with family members.
- Overvalued ideas and odd beliefs.

What is Schizoid personality disorder?
A
- More extreme than Schizotypal.
- patients often lack relationships even with family members and distance themselves from all.
- characterised by just negative symptoms and not associated with and positive symptoms such as overvalued ideas or odd beliefs.

How is serotonin syndrome usually managed?
A
- management is supportive with fluids.
- Benzodiazepines may also be given
- More severe cases are managed using serotonin antagonists such as cyproheptadine and chlorpromazine
