ADR: hypotension, dizziness, HA
May cause dizziness- avoid activities that require alertness
report s/s: hypotension
Eat high K+ food during therapy
Avoid Alcohol and NSAIDs

DI: Phosphodiesterate Inhibitors (ED drugs)
ADR: HA
swallow ER capsule whole- do not crush
stir prior to using sublingual tablets, lingual aerosol or spray
tablets should be dissolved under tongue or buccal pouch at first signs of angina, do not swallow
spray under tongue, do not inhale, don't spit or rinse mouth after use.
Rise slowly from sitting position
allow a 10-12 hr/day drug free interval to avoid the development of tolerance for both patches and ER capsules
Avoid alcohol, CNS depressants, antihypertensives, or other drugs that will cause hypotension
Do NOT use nitroglycerin with phosphodiesterase inhibitors
