الرَّحْمَنُ
The Most Merciful (with vast, all-encompassing mercy)

- Example Sentence:
Arabic: الرَّحْمَنُ رَحِيمٌ بِجَمِيعِ الْخَلْقِ.
Transliteration: Ar-Raḥmānu raḥīmun bijamī‘ al-khalq.
Translation: The Most Merciful is kind to all of creation.

The Especially Merciful (continuous mercy, especially for believers)
Arabic: اللهُ الرَّحِيمُ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ لِمَنْ يَتُوبُ.
Transliteration: Allāhu ar-Raḥīmu yaghfiru al-dhunūba liman yatūb.
Translation: Allah, the Especially Merciful, forgives the sins of those who repent.

Translation: Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful toward people.

The Ever-Accepter of Repentance
The Ever Relenting
It is a superlative form meaning “He constantly accepts repentance.”
Arabic: إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيمًا.
Transliteration: Inna Allāha kāna tawwāban raḥīman.
Translation: Indeed, Allah is Ever-Accepter of Repentance and Merciful.
(Qur’an 4:16)

Often used to describe how close Allah is to His servants.

Translation: And when My servants ask you about Me — indeed I am near.
