Q

food security problems?

A

~increased use of fertilisers means more needs to be made which releases CO2 and uses energy
~increased CO2 production leads to climate change
~over sustainability - ability of a process to continue at current level without causing harm, e.g. to the environment

Q

how may fertiliser production cause environmental change?

A

~fertiliser production requires energy and releases carbon dioxide
