Q

SGLT2 MOA

A

The sodium glucose co transporter 2 is present in the proximal tubules of the kidney and reabsorbs filtered glucose from the renal tubular lumen. This process is inhibited which results in reduced reabsorption of filtered glucose into the body and lowers the renal threshold for glucose resulting in increased urine glucose excretion
