Pulmonary atrial PO2=INCREASE
Pulmonary blood flow=INCREASE shunt from RV to LV more flow into the pulmonary artery more flow into the lung
Pulmonary arterial pressure=INCREASE pulmonary markings in CXR, may lead to pulmonary hypertension

PATENT DUCTUS ARTERIOSUS (newborn)
connects pulmonary artery into the aorta
HIGH TO LOW PRESSURE

Pulmonary atrial PO2= INCREASE due to reversal of flow from aorta to pulmonary artery (OXYGENATED BLOOD)
