Forced choice / Paired Stimulus

A

Give them two items (Item A and B). Client chooses item A. Replace item B with item C. They choose item C. Give them item B and item C. They choose item C. This helps you decide what they like best.

Forced choice hierarchy: They chose item C twice, item A once and item B zero

A

Lay out three or more items and you have them choose. Put back the item they chose and replace the other items and continue.This process is repeated several times-typically until each item has been presented a minimum of two times. From there, a hierarchy of preferences is created.
