Health Psychology
A subfield of psychology focused on how biological, psychological, and social factors affect health and illness
Eustress
“Good stress” – like prepping for prom or playoffs
Distress
“Bad stress” – chronic pressure, academic burnout

General Adaptation Syndrome
Phase 1: Alarm

Phase 3: Exhaustion
