• media over focuses on extravagant consumer goods and these things are usually only accessible to the rich and the upper classes. says that wealth is represented as deserved rather than part of a “chaos of rewards”
• luxury goods are used as a distraction for the working class and they will fantasise about these items and work harder to try and gain money but due to the exploitation of society, they will never be able to achieve this and it will only benefit the upper
  classes
  Eg. Molly Mae appears to live an attainable lifestyle and people want to live up to this but this is not the case. The working class feel if they work hard they could achieve this but this only benefits the upper class.
