It seems to be easier for women to enter the job market but they still suffer from the glass ceiling their career don't progress as much as men's. Most chores are still done by women and Some working fields are still mostly done by them too m.

Men and women are created equal so there should be a second class citizens. Equal pay benefits women and their family, for the American economy to work there should be no discrimination.

Equal pay has personal dimension for him. It's the first bill he signed when he become president. He wanted to pay a tribute to his grandmother who worked in a bank all her life and who suffered from the pay gap. He wants his daughters to live in a society where woman are not discriminated.

There are fewer job opportunities for women and there's still a wage gap. Some women are now leading business or serving at the highest levels of government but many women can't have access to mal dominated fields and find it hard to balance work and family.
