Sent by the governor of Virginia to tell the French to leave the Ohio River Valley but they won’t leave without force. He fought at the first battle of the war and surrendered Fort Necessity.

Battle of Quebec (1759)

A

It was a battle between the British and the French for control of North America. During the night, half of General Wolfe’s men climbed a cliff protecting Quebec. In the morning, Wolfe’s men had surrounded Quebec. Quebec was called “The Key to the Continent” because it controlled access to the St. Lawrence River and Great Lakes.

Treaty of Paris 1763

A

The Peace Treaty of Paris 1763 ended the French Indian War (The Seven Years War). Britain gained France’s lands east of the Mississippi River and Spanish Florida. Spain gained France’s lands west of the Mississippi River.
