An otherwise healthy 32 year old man dies suddenly from a thin-walled aneurysm in the circle of willis. What is the most cause of this?

A.  AD PKD 
B. syphilis infection 
C. Strep infection 
D. Marfan's syndrome 
E. Artherosclerotic build up

Ans. AD PKD- berry aneurysms are related to AD PKD

B. Syphilis infection- usually effect the vaso vasorum and then the thoracic aorta

C. Strep infection- can affect the cerebral vessels but the “other wise healthy portion” would have elimated this since strep infections usually show sign of strep throat and fever

D. Marfans- Fibrillin-1 defect associated with aortic dissection and valve lesions

E. Artherosclerotic build up- causing an anerurysim would be more likely in older people and usually happens in the AAA.
