high risk of disfiguring scars if not treated properly
face is very vascular & may bleed plenty
open injuuries may allow for air embolism to enter circulatory system

vessels rupture leading to blood in the sclera

treat eye injuries
A
- remove small foreign objects w/cotton-tipped applicator
- to cool & remove & liquid/powwder chemicals, irrigate w/copious amounts of water for 15-20 min
- stabilize & cover impaled object

Nose injuries
A
- epistaxis(nose bleed)
- deviated septum
- Cerebral Spinal Fluid(CSF)
- Foreign Object Stuck

Treating Nose Injuries
A
- if bleeding heavily or leaking CSF from the nose, assess MOI & consider SMR
- Position all other upright leaning forward
- pinch bridge of nose
