Q

In terms of stomata opening, compare C3, C4 and CAM plants

A

C3 plants must have stomata open for photosynthesis.

C4 plants store carbon dioxide as a C4 compound, close their stomata on very hot days & still continue photosynthesis.

CAM plants open their stomata at night & store Carbon Dioxide as CAM to continue photosynthesis during the day
