Q

Πιστευιες τῳ εὐαγγελιοῳ ὃ ἠκουσας;

A

Do you believe the gospel which you heard?

25
Q

ὀμαθητης ὁς ἠρνησατο τον Ἰησουν μετενονσεν;

A

Did the disciple who denied Jesus repent?

26
Q

Μη και ὑμεις θελετε ὐπαγειν;

A

You don’t also wish to go away, do you?

27
Q

Οὐχ οὑτος ἐστιν ὁν ζητουσιν;

A

This is whom they are seeking, isn’t it?

28
Q

και ἐλεγον, Οὐχι ωἱος ἐστιν Ἰωσηφ οὑτος;

A

And they were saying, ‘Isn’t this Joseph’s son?’

29
Q

ἐλεγον οὐν οἱ Ἰουδαιοι, Μητι ἀποκτενει ἐαυτον;

A

So the Jews were saying, ‘He isn’t going to kill himself, is he?’

30
Q

kαι ἐκηρυσσεν λεγων.

A

And he used to preach (saying), ‘he is coming’.

31
Q

A

For two days they listen to the Lord.

32
Q

A

During the day they listen to the Lord.’ (By day they listen to the Lord.’)

33
Q

A

On the day they listen to the Lord.

34
Q

A

On the day they saw.

35
Q

A

Am I not an apostle? Did I not see Jesus our Lord? Listen to what I am saying to you.

36
Q

οἱ δ’ ἐκ των Φαρισαιςν ἡκουσαν ταυτα και ἐθαυμαζον λεγοντες αὐτῳ Μη και ἡμεις τυφλοι ἐσμεν;

A

Some of the Pharisees heard these things and were amazed, saying to him, ‘Surely we are not also blind, are we?’

37
Q

A

And not only (that), but we are coming near to God through our Lord Jesus Christ, though whom we are now receiving peace with God.

38
Q

ἀλλοι ἐλεγον. Οὑτος ἐστιν ὁ Χριστος, οἱ δε ἐλεγον. Μη ἐκ της Γαλιλαιας ὁ Χριστος ἐρχεται;

A

Others were saying, ‘This man is the Messiah,’ but others were saying, ‘Surely the Messiah does not come from Galilee, does he?’

39
Q

A

And David says, ‘Blessed is the person to whom the Lord reckons righteousness apart from works.’

40
Q

A

For many days the people were in Egypt just as God has said to Abraham.

41
Q

ἠρνησατο ὁ στρατιωτης λεγων. Μητι ἐγω Ἰουδαιος εἰμι;

A

The soldier denied (it), saying, ‘I am not a Jew, am I?’

42
Q

A

And we are in the one who is true, in his son Jesus Christ. (This one) He is the true God and eternal life.

43
Q

A

Jesus says to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.’

44
Q

A

Pilate was sleeping on the other side of the sea of Galilee.

45
Q

A

But what I wrote to you, I bear witness in the presence of God.

46
Q

A

Do not be amazed because of this, because an hour is coming in which the dead will hear his voice.

47
Q

A

But Jesus was saying; Truly I say to you, many no longer have a house or brothers or sisters or children for the sake of me and for the sake of the gospel.

48
Q

A

However there is neither a sister apart from a brother nor a brother apart from a sister in the Lord.

49
Q

A

He was teaching them saying that David himself says/calls him the lord, and from where/how is he his son and the large crowd was listening to him.

50
Q

A

And Jesus said to him; “Depart!” and immediately he received his sight and followed him in the way.

51
Q

A

But while coming, proclaim saying the kingdom of heaven is coming near.

52
Q

A

Just as you wish to receive from people do to them likewise.

53
Q

A

If you see these things, be amazed; near is the kingdom of God.

54
Q

A

Others were saying “this is he”, others were saying “ no, but he is like him. That one was saying “I am [he]”.

55
Q

A

During the Sabbath the brothers were sleeping but the sisters were giving thanks to God.

56
Q

A

Likewise neither life nor death is outside of God’s authority.

57
Q

A

You have done these things well; go in peace.

58
Q

A

Pilate was amazed because that man did nothing evil but healed many.
