*enzymes can erode bone (ossicles, mastoid)

A

ET dysfunction
1. TM is intact but May perforate
2. Can enlarge and occlude middle ear

What are the signs of Cholesteatoma

A
  1. Otorrhea (painless, brown/yellow discharge with strong odor)
  2. Conductive hearing loss
  3. Tinnitus
  4. Vertigo
