A

Weber Test

A

-Tuning fork on top of the head
-Normal: Sound is heard equally in both ears
-Conductive Loss: Sound is heard in abnormal ear
-Sensorineural Loss: Sound is heard in normal ear

Rinne Test

A

-Placing tuning fork at mastoid, then ear when sound can no longer be heard
-Normal: Sound heard at ear is 2x longer than mastoid
-Conductive Loss: Bone conduction heard longer than air conduction
-Sensorineural: Air conduction longer than bone conduction

Schwabach Test

A

Placing tuning fork on patients mastoid then when no longer heard the dr puts on their mastoid
-Normal: Both hear for the same amount of time
-Conductive: Patient hears it longer
-Sensorineural: Doctor hears it longer
