  • it is the inner part of the adrenal gland and its main purpose is to control the horomnes that intiate the flight or fight responce.

What is Thymosins and what do they do in the endocrine system?

A
  • a peptide hormone that is produced by the thymus gland and makes T cells which are invloved in immune respopnces. they affect the production of T Lymphnotes( white blood cells)
  • it is also required for maturation of T and B cells
