A

States which direction the result will go in
Example young people will do significantly better than old people on a memory test

What is a non-directional hypothesis?

A

Less clear of a direction but acknowledges there will be a difference/relationship and results found
There will be a significant difference between Young and Old people in performance of a memory test

A
