A
- Specific goal must be clear and reflect performers individual playing position or event (improve speed over hurdle)
- Measurable goal must be quantifiable so progress is assessed (timed with stop watch)
- Achievable must be able to cheive goal within the set time frame(reduce time by 0.1 seconds)
- Realistic must be within performers reach from where they are now (aim to improve it by national championships in 2 months)
- Time bound set period clearly stated to track progress (by the end of 2 months)
- Evaluated assess whether goal was acheievd or not and the reasons why (check times to see if goal is met)
- Re-do repeat efforts for any goals not yet met (adjust goal to reduce it by 0.05 seconds)
