What is Unicast?
Data from single source to single destination
Unicast allows for a two-way conversation between sender and receiver.
What is Multicast?
Data from single source to multiple specific destinations
The sender communicates with a specific group of receivers.
What is Broadcast?
Data from single source to all sources on a destination network
The sender addresses all devices on the network.
How does Multicast differ from Broadcast?
Broadcast – everyone receives the message; Multicast – only those who have opted into the multicast group receive the message.
