What is Crohn's Disease?

idiopathic inflammation anywhere from mouth to anus. (most common with colon)

S&S of Crohn's Disease?

skip lesion - inflammation-normal-inflammation
right lower quadrant/abdomen pain
diarrhea

T=symptomatic
E=Stress, viral, bacterial-unknown

Inflammation of segment of colon.
No skip lesions

inflammation of the mouth (oral mucosa)
type 1: herpatic (cold sores) infectious
type 2: aphthous (canker sores)
