ทำไมถึง… = why?
บางคน = some people
เรียก…ว่า = call that
เรา = us / me (in Thai, “เรา” can mean “I” or “we,” depending on context)
ล่ะ = (sentence-ending particle used for asking with curiosity or emphasis)
What does it mean?
เพื่อนคนนั้นตอบว่า…
That friend answered that…
เพื่อนคนนั้นตอบว่า…
เพื่อน = friend
คนนั้น = that (person)
ตอบว่า = answer that
What does it mean?
“เพราะเอ็ดดี้เคยเรียนที่นี่ และก็หน้าตาเหมือนนายสุดๆ”
“Because Eddie used to study here, and he looks so much like you!”

เคย = used to / have ever
เรียน = study
ที่นี่ = here
และก็ = and also
หน้าตา = appearance
เหมือน = like / resemble
นาย = you (informal, casual male pronoun)
สุดๆ = extremely / very much
What does it mean?
“บางคนก็เลยคิดว่านายคือ เอ็ดดี้ไงล่ะ”
Some people therefore think that you are Eddie, that’s why!

ก็เลย = so / therefore
คิดว่า = think that
นาย = you (casual/informal, mostly male)
คือ = is / are (to be)

Bob suddenly felt like meeting Eddie right away.

รู้สึก = feel
อยาก = want to
เจอ = meet / see (someone)
ทันที = immediately / right away
What does it mean?
เขาได้ที่อยู่ของเอ็ดดี้ มาจากเพื่อนคนหนึ่ง และตัดสินใจลองไปหาเอ็ดดี้ ที่บ้าน
He got Eddie’s address from a friend and decided to try to go see Eddie at his house.
