Three important conditions set up qualifications for receiving the desires of our heart:

1. when we trust in the Lord’s ways as being good, our desires will be for those good ways.
2. when we delight in the Lord, our desires will be for that in which we delight—the Lord and his ways.
3. when we commit our ways to the Lord, we will restrict our desires to only those ways that are of the Lord.
