Causes of membranous GN

A
  • idiopathic: anti-phospholipase A2 antibodies
  • infections: hepatitis B, malaria, syphilis
  • malignancy: prostate, lung, lymphoma, leukaemia
  • drugs: gold, penicillamine, NSAIDs
  • autoimmune diseases: SLE, thyroiditis, rheumatoid
