Planus
- Purple
- Papular
- Pruritic
- Polyglonal
Itchy papular rash
Common on palms, soles, flexures
Often white lines on surface or rash
Can affect buccal mucosa
Thinning of nails
Koebner +ve

How do you Rx

Topical steroid - very potent
Mouth wash if oral
Steroids / immunosuppression if severe
Hydroxychloroquine but can worsen psoriasis
Anti-histamine

What is lichen sclerosis

Inflammatory condition commonly affecting genitalia in elderly female
Associated autoimmune

Atrophy of epidrmis
White plaques
Prominent itch

Polymorphic eruption
Pemphigoid gestinalis

Pruritic condition of final trimester
Lesions in addominal striae

Emollient
Mild potent steroid
Oral steroid

Pleuritic blistering lesion
Often peri-umbilical
Spreads to trunk and buttock
2nd / 3rd trimester
