  • Fainting behaviour- researchers raited the ppts fainting behaviour (0- no fainting and 4- fainting)

  • Ppts were shown a 30 mins, silent, coloured film of a surgey being performed.
  • They were instructed to NOT close their eyes as much as they could.
  • If they looked away or paused the video (with remote) the test woud terminate.

  • Each step was first descrived and the ppts had to say which steps tehy were okayw ith being performed- if they said no to any step the test was terminiated.
