A
Microorganisms that cause infectious disease
Eg bacteria and viruses

A
Once inside the body they reproduce very rapidly
Then release toxins
= damage tissues and make us feel ill

A
Virus invades host cell
Virus reproduces inside host cell
= damaging to cell
When virus leave the cell it can cause cell to burst open and die

Washing your hands before eating
Provide people with clean drinking water
Use a condom during sexual intercourse
