Magdalena had been preaching to people under a pear tree for 47 years. She showed them the Dutch bible Schmidt gave her ( wrapped in sheepskins in a leather bag ). They were amazed when her daughter read to them from the Dutch bible.

Why was the process of writing the San language down difficult?
Because of all its click sounds, but the language has been successfully preserved for the future.
