Magdalena had been preaching to people under a pear tree for 47 years. She showed them the Dutch bible Schmidt gave her ( wrapped in sheepskins in a leather bag ). They were amazed when her daughter read to them from the Dutch bible.

Why was the process of writing the San language down difficult?
