interpersonal:
the meeting of two people, establishing a relationship, maintaining compliance.

Types of difficult patients

A

afraid of, others infuriate us, and there are those seriously emotionally affect us,

  1. violent sentiments generated in the doctor by patients
  2. treatment of anger in the doctor-patient relationship

How to deal with an angry patient

A

He should name the patient’s feeling: e.g. “I feel that this situation has infuriated you”. Then he has to provide an opportunity for the patient to explain the motives of his anger: e.g., “Would you, please, tell me, what has infuriated you so much?

The patient’s anger will subside only if he gets the chance to talk about everything that stands in the background of his anger.
