A

Circular lesion, begins in centre and spreads out. Tinea, ringworm.

A

Lesions that merge together, ex. Hives. Start distinctly and then flow together.

A

Acne/pimple. On own, independent.

Grouped

A

Clusters of lesions, ex. Poison ivy or contact dermatitis. Different from confluent because no discernible outlines.

A

Twisted, coiled, spiral, snakelike.

Target

A

โ€œIrisโ€ lesions, darker in centre and lighter as you go out with concentric rings around lesion.

A

Straight line.

A

Linear arrangement along a nerve route, ex. Herpes zoster

A

Annular lesions that grow together. Different from confluent because they are separate and discrete, just growing close together.
