Q

How are ciliated Epithelial cells specialised?

A

Line the surface of organs
Some have cilia on the top surface of the cell
Function is to move substances along in one direction, along the tissue
Throat contains lots of these to help mucus move up to the throat so it isn’t swallowed and doesn’t block up the lungs.
