Q

How have ‘error correction change along history?

A

Traditionally, error were seen as something bad. They were punished and children were scary of commit them. Consequently their level of anxiety was high and the self confidence low.

Currently, errors are seen as part of the process. In fluency activities we have to avoid corrections. In accuracy ones, we have to correct in a positive way to make students feel safe and self-confident while speaking in English.
