ASAP
Aviation Safety Action Program-FAA Sponsored reporting program that allows FA’s to voluntarily submit confidential reports concerning safety violations and/or general Safety concerns without fear of company discipline or civil penalties from the FAA.
ASAP Reports provide:
Valuable data which helps the ASAP Event Review Committee (ERC) identify hazards, evaluate the related risks, and make procedural recommendations.
Goal: to fix future problems before they occur.

-must assist customers w/ disabilities w/ carryons even if they did not pre board

Must be stowed under the seat in front of PAX or as close to the PAX as possible

Portable Oxygen Concentrator
No one may sit closer to the window than a PX using the POC for taxi, takeoff or landing
-if pc uses POC without prior clearance from ground ops they must be asked to stop
Use oxygen on board if emergency

Just finished preflight duties and are ready to board. What should be the first thing you check before a PX steps onto the aircraft?
Ensure min crew requirements are met and all FA’s are in their boarding positions.
Just heard cleared for Departure PA-What do you do?
Assume brace position and conduct 30 second review
Service
-serve mixed drinks w/ a stir stick
-serve mini w/ cap off if they want to mix their own
-circle all alcohol so you know what to pull out of kits
-do not leave an empty spot on your tray
-Avoid touching rim of cup
-dont put hot beverage cup inside plastic cup
Serve w/ napkin and smile
