1. There is no God but Allah
2. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah

1. Shahadah- declaration of faith
2. Salah - prayer 5 times daily
3. Zakah - giving of money
4. Sawm - fasting during the month of Ramadan
5. Hajj - obligatory pilgrimage

Why is Shahadah the most important belief?

These words allow you to revert back to Islam
First words a baby should hear
Last words a Muslim should say before death
Forms the 5time daily call to prayer
Rejecting these words is a form of apostacy

They have to be said with the right intention and to live by the will of Allah - niyyah
